Michael Alcamo, the firm's President, is an experienced and successful mergers and acquisitions adviser, private equity investor and workouts specialist. He advises media and communications firms and private equity investors on strategic acquisitions and dispositions, recapitalizations, valuations assessments, market analyses, investor relations strategies, and associated financing matters.
The firm's merchant banking expertise extends to complex corporate workouts, the resolution of joint ventures or illiquid portfolio investments, and real estate matters.
The firm works closely with private equity managers responsible for nearly $15 billion in private capital, and is a trusted adviser and partner to business owners, entrepreneurs, and other investment banks.
Mr. Alcamo served as President of Baltic Investments Limited, an institutional fund that holds real estate assets in Central Europe.
Previously, Mr. Alcamo practiced law in the capital markets group at White & Case LLP, the international law firm, based in that firm's offices in New York, Helsinki, Stockholm, Prague and Warsaw.
Mr. Alcamo is a citizen of the United States and the Republic of Italy. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the New York University School of Law, and he is active in civic and educational organizations. From 1994 to 2006, he served as a Director of the Princeton Club of New York, Inc., and held four-year terms as Treasurer and as Vice President for Finance.
